15 Days 11 Hours 25 Minutes

To prove the everyday practicability of this environmentally friendly energy source, we are the very first who used alternative fuel along the whole of the longest and most spectacular road in the world – the 25,000 kilometers of the Panamericana from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego.
To provide all the more impressive evidence for the performance of biofuels combined with modern motor technology, we managed a journey time of 15 days 11 hours and 25 minutes. The journey has been carried out with three vehicles and nine drivers, who took turns at the wheel for scheduled five-hour intervals.

The idea behind the project was to give worldwide publicity to the use of fuels based on renewable raw materials. With the allied support of as many people as possible, we were able to draw the attention of energy users and energy providers to the enormous potential of energy from renewable raw materials.
